Idriss Mayet has been happily married for over 30 years and has 3 married children. He has been involved with the Vietnamese-Muslim community since its earliest days. He has dedicated over 20 years to the Islamic Weekend School at the Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC) in Garden Grove. In his professional life, Idriss has spent over 20 years and counting working in telecommunications and large scale phone systems. He is a daily attendee of ICOF, and also serves as the manager.
Mesbah lives in Fullerton with her husband and 3 children. She works at California State University – Fullerton and is interested in the betterment of Islamic Center of Fullerton for her family and community at large.
Hier (Aziza) Cha Tu, Treasurer
Aziza is an accountant by profession and a tireless fundraiser for many non-profit organizations. As a member of the Cham community, she is passionate about uplifting and bringing awareness to the plight of Cham Muslims in America and around the word. Cham Muslims are a minority of minorities with a rich culture that roots itself in the Islamic way of life.
Mohammad is a retired certified financial planner. Originally from Pakistan, Mohammad has lived in Fullerton with his family since 2013. Muhammed was the President of the Islamic Center of Fullerton from 2016 to 2022.
Faisal Qazi is a local physician, father of 3, married to Ameena Mirza Qazi and a resident of Fullerton. Faisal’s interests lie in community development, issues on aging and healthcare needs of the community.
Raya is a third-year biology student. She hopes to help the youth in our community by involving them in our masjid and programs and to make our mosque a safe space for our youth.
Sana is a software engineer and recent transplant to Southern California. She lives in Brea with her husband and two cats. She hopes to leverage technology for the benefit of the ICOF community.
